Hit your own balls! For all leagues (exception Thursday nights), balls must be a core of 44 or lower & a compression of 400 or lower & be an approved USSSA ball! For Thursday nights leagues, balls must be a core of 44 or lower & a compression of 375 or lower & be an approved ASA ball! All balls also must be an approved ball by Wessel Sports & Riverstar Sportsplex. A list of approved softballs are below.

For Mixed couples leagues, you have the option of using the 11" women's ball when a female is batting. This ball must be  USSSA approved. This ball may not have a core more than 47 & a compression of more than 500.

All USSSA men's tournaments (excluding the Major NIT) will be hit your own ball! These balls must be approved by USSSA and have a core of not higher than 44 & a compression of not more than 400! So the balls MUST BE stamped USSSA Elite or USSSA Major. NO USSSA DISTANCE balls will be allowed! All balls must be an approved ball by Wessel Sports & Riverstar Sportsplex. All USSSA Co-Ed tournaments will be hit your own balls, the male balls must be approved by USSSA and have a core of not higher than 44 & a compression of not more than 400! So the balls MUST BE stamped USSSA Elite or USSSA Major. NO USSSA DISTANCE balls will be allowed! All balls must be an approved ball by Wessel Sports & Riverstar Sportsplex. A list of approved softball are below. The women's ball maybe a distance (47/500) or Elite (44/400)

All WSL tournaments will be hit your own ball. These balls must be the WSL stamped MIKEN-NRG ball that is a 44 core & 375 compression. There are no exceptions to this rule!
